The goal of this symposium is to help long-term care clinicians become more proficient in meeting the needs of the mentally ill residents in their facilities.
Please join us for a message of HOPE on Friday, September 28th at 6:30 pm to hear Kevin Hines speak. Kevin survived jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge and now travels the world spreading a message of suicide prevention, suicide awareness, and hope.
In September 2000, Kevin Hines leapt off the Golden Gate Bridge, a method of suicide attempt that has resulted in death for most of the 2000 people who have made that jump since the bridge was erected in 1937. But Kevin survived.
Live Through This is a collection of portraits and true stories of suicide attempt survivors across the United States. On Sept. 20, join The Crisis Center for an artist talk by Dese’Rae L. Stage, creator of the project.
